Have you heard of the fire lily?  It is a flower that grows after the hill fires in South Africa. Imagine a hill of black ash, and then suddenly, one by one, radiant splashes of orange and red sprinkle across the hillsides. These flowers are a bold and bright illustration that beauty and life can spring out of the ashes.

Are you looking for a splash of color on the grey canvas that life can sometimes be?  I wrote a devotional, "Fire Lilies -Out of the Ashes"  that might be just what you need right now to get through the struggles that come at you. Join me on the journey, as we discover (or rediscover) joy and life. Just like the fire lily...

"Kim has a knack for coming up with catchy melodies as a songwriter and delivering them as a vocalist with a unique character that I believe sets her apart. As a producer, I enjoy her humble, yet confident, approach in offering suggestions and her sincere willingness to do whatever is necessary to make the song the best it can be."  -Javier Silva (Producer, Artist, Songwriter)

"Kim paints in a fearless sonic landscape. With rich vocal talents and layered lyrical imagery, she calls down fire from the sky with a whisper, then shouts to the silence." -Jackson Jackson (Producer, Songwriter, Musician, Author)

In case you didn't know, I'm in a music duo with Jackson Jackson, called Last August, and we have some exciting news. Our song, "Now You See Me, Now You Don't" will air on ABC's Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on March 30th, 2018!

We're super excited to have our music be a part of the Marvel family!
We are also super thrilled to give away this song as a free download to our subscribers.  Wonderful YOU!

Let us know if you hear it on the show!

PS SHOUT OUT to Tanvi and her team at Crucial Music for placing it!

TAXI picked my song, "Roots" as one of their TAXI FAVORITES for February. Written by Janine de Souza and myself, Mix and Master by Ge Oh (AKA Eugene Andrew Veleasquez Sarmiento). Ge Oh made it sound extra special by creating a drum tracks from twigs snapping, car keys jangling and other sounds he messed with in his Foley room.  Congrats to my team mates, Janine and Ge Oh, and thank you to the A&R Team at Taxi!
